Course content: This course is delivered in compliance with RYA training standards and has their approval. This course will educate you how your engine operates, how to maintain its health with routine inspections and maintenance, and how to basic fault find it in the event of a failure.

Training Requirements: It is imperative that all trainees possess fluency in reading, speaking, and understanding English, as a component of the training entails communicating in dangerous situations.

Equipment/Clothing: you will require Overalls or Working clothes, (you might get diesel, oil or grease on them), safety boots (if possible or study footwear, wet weather gear (i.e. anorak etc.). We can supply gloves and safety glasses.

Hours: The courses will run each day from 09:00 till 17:00 unless otherwise stated at time of booking and on course booking confirmation. 

Certificate: Upon successful passing of the exams a course completion certificate will be issued. The training centre will maintain record of this for seven years.
