Lunch: We do not include lunch in the course price and a packed lunch is recommended. There is a very nice village shop not far from the centre but opening hours cannot be guaranteed. We DO include tea/coffee and very nice biscuits though!

Facilities:  Free on-site parking is available.

How to find us: Our training centre address is Sea Scout Hall,  North End, Farndon, Newark NG24 3SX.
On arrival please park in the  car park and come through the gates, the entrance is on the right up the steps, or call us to let us know you have arrived and we will come and get you.

Practical Courses: 0900 start to approximately 1700 each day, unless otherwise agreed for own boat training.

What to expect from a Practical Course: These are held out on the river for most of the course and days run from 0900 to approximately 1700, however please check your confirmation e-mail to confirm timings.Lifejackets are provided, please bring waterproofs and appropriate footware. No sandals or flipflops, and expect the footware to get a little wet.

Shorebased Theory Courses: 0900 start to approximately 1700 each day.

What to expect from a Shorebased Course: These are held in our classroom and most days run from 0900 to approximately 1700, however please check your confirmation e-mail to confirm timings. Those completing Day Skipper and Coastal/Yachtmaster shorebased courses will also have a small amount of homework each evening.
All necessary books and equipment are provided but please bring a notepad and pen.
