RYA Powerboat Level 2

The RYA Powerboat Level 2 course provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations.

We teach the RYA Powerboat Level 2 on a Terhi 450 console steer boat with a yamaha 30hp on the back. Our training area is between Hazleford lock and Newark Nether lock.

We can also offer the RYA powerboat level 2 course on your own boat at a location to suit you (pricing varies)

NOTE: course requires minimum numbers to run, if these are not met the course will be rescheduled and we will either move you to another course or refund you.
