Instructor courses in the Midlands

The Courses

Nautical Training have managed to secure a mixture of Shorebased and Powerboat instructor courses to be held at our Farndon base. Located in the Midlands, at Newark Nottinghamshire is easily accessible, making it ideal for students from surrounding regions such as South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, and beyond.

This will provide a set of shorebased instructor courses in the Midlands saving lengthy travel for Midlands people to other further away venues.

We can arrange Powerboat Instructor (PBI) courses on request. But do also schedule two per year.

The shore based instructor courses we are holding in 2026 will be Teaching in the classroom (TIC), Navigation Instructor and Diesel Engine Instructor. The following shorebased instructor courses are also available in the Midlands region in early 2026 and are being held down the road at our friends Marine Masters. These are VHF SRC Instructor, RADAR Instructor and First Aid instructor. Other shore-based instructor courses may be available if we get enough interest. The shore-based instructor courses are hosted by the RYA and will be run by an RYA traveling trainer. THESE ARE BOOKED VIA THE RYA SHORE-BASED INSTRUCTOR CALENDAR HERE.

We have scheduled a Powerboat Instructor course which is run by a local midlands based Powerboat Trainer. These are booked using our website by selecting the course below and pressing the book button.
